'metta' which means 'loving - kindness' is a pali word used in buddhism. the metta practice helps us to bring more harmony into our relationships with others so that we experience less conflicts, resolve existing difficulties + deepen our connections with the people around us, so we have less internal and external conflict + develop an appreciation of the environment + relationships that exist around us.
